What we collect, why, who sees it and how long we keep it. In plain English.
This page explains what vistaza.com collects, why, who sees it and how long we keep it. It covers this website, our website assistant and our phone line. It does not cover the architect portal, which has its own sign-in.
The short version
We collect what you type into our forms and our assistant, and the drawings you send us. We use it to answer you and to price your project. We count visits with our own cookieless analytics (the page, the site or campaign link that sent you, your device type, language and time zone, the city and the organization that owns your internet connection as read from a lookup table, how long you stay and how far you scroll, and which download, phone and email links you click), tied only to a scrambled key that changes every day, cannot identify you and is then discarded; the address of your connection is looked up in memory and never stored. If you then send us a form or use the help bot, the pages you looked at that day are kept with your request so we can answer it better; we run no advertising trackers and set no cookies. We do not sell your information.
What we collect, and why
Send plans
When you send plans we collect what you fill in: your role, name, company, email, phone, the job address and the project details, and the drawings you upload or link to.
We use it to review your drawings, price the job and reply to you. The details and download links for your drawings go by email to our estimating team. You get one confirmation email from us. If you send plans on Shabbos or a Jewish holiday, that email waits until it ends.
Your drawings are stored privately. They are never public, and the download links in the team's email stop working after 7 days. When you add a PDF, your browser loads a small preview tool from a public code library to draw the thumbnail. The file itself is not sent anywhere until you press Send plans.
Architect support and the reference book
When you ask for a presentation, samples, help with a spec or the reference book, we collect what you fill in: your name, firm, email, phone, your project and anything else you tell us, such as where to ship samples.
We use it to answer your request. It goes by email to our team, who reply to you directly.
The website assistant
The "Help" button opens an AI assistant. What you type, its answers and the page you are on are sent to a third-party AI service that writes each reply. We keep a copy of every conversation so we can see what people ask and improve the answers.
If you ask the assistant to put you in touch with a person, it collects your name, how to reach you and what you need, and emails that with the conversation to our team.
Please do not type anything into the assistant that you would not put in an email to us.
Our phone line
Our phone line is answered by an AI assistant run by our phone service provider. The provider handles the call and keeps a written transcript of it. We log the number you call from, the time of the call and any message you leave. Messages go by email to our team, who call you back. We do not keep an audio recording. The assistant answers our main number, 929-668-2340.
Email you send us
If you email us directly, your message stays in our business email.
Everyone who visits
We count visits with our own cookieless analytics (the page, the site or campaign link that sent you, your device type, language and time zone, the city and the organization that owns your internet connection as read from a lookup table, how long you stay and how far you scroll, and which download, phone and email links you click), tied only to a scrambled key that changes every day, cannot identify you and is then discarded; the address of your connection is looked up in memory and never stored. If you then send us a form or use the help bot, the pages you looked at that day are kept with your request so we can answer it better; we run no advertising trackers and set no cookies. Browsers set to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted at all. Two other things happen on every visit:
- The site's typeface is loaded from Google's font service, so your browser contacts Google's servers when a page opens.
To stop the forms and the assistant from being flooded, we count how often each connection uses them. Our records keep a scrambled code made from your IP address, not the address itself.
The Instagram, LinkedIn and X icons are plain links. Nothing from those services loads until you click one.
Who sees it
The Vistaza team who answer plans, requests and messages. The companies that run our hosting, storage, email, phone line and AI assistant handle the information only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send us for as long as we need it to answer you and serve your project, then delete it. Drawings you upload are deleted automatically after two years.
What stays on your device
The Send plans, architect support and reference book forms save what you type in your own browser as you go, so a reload or a crash does not lose it. It is cleared when the form is sent. If you fill in a form and do not send it, it stays in that browser until you clear your browsing data.
The assistant keeps the conversation in your browser tab so it survives moving between pages. It is gone when you close the tab.
None of this is a cookie and none of it is sent to us until you press send.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email web@vistaza.com with the email address or phone number you used.
You do not have to use the assistant or the forms. You can always email or call us instead.
This site is for building professionals and is not meant for children.
