Terrace doors.
In-swing and out-swing doors in the same frames, colors and glass as the windows beside them, with a steel core.

The numbers.
The highest each rating has reached in the lab, with the report behind it. Your sizes and your glass set the numbers for your building, and we give you those exactly.

A step that keeps the weather out.
The standard sill is a raised step with a drip edge. Wind-driven rain has to climb the step before it can reach the room, so this is the sill behind the published water rating, and it is the sill on every terrace door, Vi6 and Vi5, unless the schedule says otherwise. The accessible sill is the alternative: flip the picture to see it.
A low sill is a choice, not a default.
The accessible sill is 1/2 inch high and sits 3/16 inch above the finished floor, so a wheelchair, a walker or a stroller rolls across it. The seal lifts to meet the door as it closes, so the door never drags on the sill. A lower sill gives wind-driven rain less to climb, so it is tested on its own and chosen door by door. Ask us for its tested result.
Standard sill or accessible sill.

A raised step with a drip edge. The step is what holds water out, so this is the sill behind the published water rating.

1/2 inch high, the limit the ADA sets for a new doorway. Flat enough to roll a wheelchair or a stroller across. Offered on the Vi6 in-swing door, and marked door by door on the shop drawings.

The same standard sill on the 70 mm (2-3/4″) frame.
The door is part
of the elevation.
Same frame, same color and same glass as the windows beside it, so a terrace door reads as one more opening in the wall. Black or white, single or paired, with a side light or without.
