Ready for framed walls.
The Vi5 frame takes an optional nailing fin, so it fixes to a framed wall the way your installer expects. Inside, the red core is steel — it runs through the frame and the sash.
The same frame, no fin.
For openings in masonry or block, the Vi5 frame comes without the fin and is anchored through the jambs. Inside, the red core is steel — it runs through the frame and the sash.
A hinge you can see,
and reach.
The Vi5 hangs on standard hinges, set on the face of the frame under a cover in the hardware color. They carry the whole weight of the sash, and because they are in plain view they are quick to adjust: up and down, side to side, and tighter or looser against the seal.
